TEAK CLEANER & BRIGHTENER
Make Your Old Teak Look Like New
The easy way to restore teak wood to its’ original color. Removes the gray or white look from teak wood. If teak wood is not cleaned often or finished properly it becomes oxidized. This happens as the sun heats the natural oils in the teak wood. Teak is a very dense and natural oily wood and is used because it holds up so well around water. Stronger than most all teak cleaning products, NAUTICAL EASE TEAK CLEANER & BRIGHTENER cleans and brightens badly oxidized teak in minutes.
To Use:
First wet teak with water. Remove safety cap on bottle marked Step 1 and replace with the flip top cap provided in the package. Apply to the teak and spread with a small brush. Let set about 5 minutes until the wood turns dark. At this point all dirt and oxidation has been loosened. Do not allow the wood to dry. Immediately install flip top cap to Step 2 bottle. After rinsing the scrub brush, apply Step 2 brightener over previously cleaned wood. Almost instantly the teak wood will bleach out to the look of brand new teak. The reaction of the Step 2 product with the Step 1 product causes this to happen. Using the scrub brush and water, flush well and brush debris from the wood. Let dry and finish with the product of your choice.
NO TEAK IS TOO DIRTY
Regardless of the condition of the teak, NAUTICALEASE TEAK CLEANER & BRIGHTENER WILL MAKE IT LOOK LIKE NEW. Much better than sanding because it opens the pores of the wood for penetration of the finish you choose to use. Sanding closes the pores and is not recommended.
Do NOT allow Step 1 or Step 2 to remain on the gel-coat. Wipe with wet cloth or flush with water immediately.
